How answers work Boomer uses Qwen3 1.7B by default, with Qwen3 4B available in Settings, an open language model running in your browser—not ChatGPT. No API key or paid AI service is needed. General chat downloads model files (the larger option is about 2.5 GB) from Hugging Face and MLC; later visits can use the browser cache. Use a recent Chrome or Edge browser with graphics acceleration and sufficient memory. Replies may be wrong; check important details. Campus questions are sent to this site to retrieve relevant official QU pages. General answers are generated on your device.
